Many thanks in advance to whoever can add some input onto these particulate questions. Does anybody come across the same issue and have some workarounds to improve the initial loading performance? And does anybody has ideas of only loading the external assets only when approach the relevant screen? Learn more about implementing the best LMS. When publish, as it didn't lessen the initial loading load. Canvas by Instructure is the worlds 1 LMS Learning Management System for schools, colleges, and universities. If it is the case of preloading all assets on startup, it is a bit pointless of externalizing resources I have tried to use firbug to examine what was going on when hanging on the grey loading screen, and noticed that it seemed while loading the main course SWF, captivate also started to load in other external assets(FLVs, SWFs). Is this too big? Also, I can't see any obvious differences by selecting or unselecting "externalize resources" options from publish setting panel.

It was so unbearing of taking so long to wait.Īctually, my course contains about 40 slides with some images, audio, animation SWFs and some external FLVs. I am using a late 2013 MBP with 16GB RAM, and the latest version of Adobe Captivate downloaded with my Creative Cloud subscription, but I consistently find that Adobe Captivate runs especially slow. It was stuck on the grey loading screen with "loading." text on for about 1,2 minitues before I can eventually see the first screen of my course.

Recently i am working on a captivate project, but experincing really slow loading problem on launching the course from our moodle server.
